Greetings from Manasquan, NJ!
Manasquan, New Jersey is a classic New Jersey beach town that still retains it's summer-winter change of atmosphere as vacationers from June through Labor Day swell the population. The town is located on the Atlantic Ocean with a mile-long oceanfront and a natural inlet for the Manasquan River, which provides additional recreational activities for Jersey shore travelers.
Manasquan has a traditional, handsome main street of turn-of-the-century buildings, a train station, and two famous summer hot spots - the Osprey Night Club and Leggetts Sand Bar. It's boardwalk and beach attract the young and families for their summer vacations. At low tide, beachcombers can walk the inlet to Point Pleasant Beach and all its boardwalk attractions.
The summer vacationer looking for a rental can still find a bungalow on the beach as well as large new houses and apartments. Besides Manasquan's beautiful beach, the vacationer can enjoy long bicycle rides on the towns unique bicycle path that goes from North Main Street through the New Jersey countryside to the inland town of Allenwood, NJ. Other attractions are the Fishing Pier, boat launches, wildlife sanctuaries, and local recreation programs run by Manasquan Recreation at the Borough of Manasquan.
